Winston Churchill said:
“Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.”
I would only add to that statement that failure should be redefined as “an invitation to give up on one’s dream or goal.’
In my experience, goal achievement is about staying focused on where one is heading. Failing to jump a hurdle, landing on one’s face, skinning a knee, losing a round or two or more – in the boxing ring of life, are just steps on that road. Just keep walking – if you do that, you’ll make it and with a few good stories to tell too!
